Name Index – C – (Photo Credit – Royal Navy Official Photographer). A casualty arrives onboard HMS Hydra having been evacuated by the ships Westland Wasp helicopter (Flight 011 XT432). HMS Hydra, a deep ocean Hydrographic survey vessel, was converted for service as a hospital ship during the Falklands Conflict. She arrived off the Falkland Islands on the 19th May 1982 and, together with HMS Hecla and HMS Herald, transported 251 casualties from Uganda to Montivideo, Uraguay from where they were flown to Britain.

Cork Lagoon – Lance Corporal Anthony Cork. Army, 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment. Large tidal lagoon west of Salinas Beach at the head of Brenton Loch, East Falkland. Sea.
Crow Beach – Private Jonathan Douglas Crow. Army, 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment. Sandy beach immediately south of MacBride Head on mainland East Falkland. Land.
Currass Creek – Sergeant Philip Preston Currass QGM. Army, Royal Army Medical Corps and 22nd Special Air Service Regiment. Southwest arm of Quaker Harbour on the west coast of Weddell Island, West Falkland. Sea.
Curtis Island – Lieutenant William Alan Curtis. Royal Navy, 801 Squadron Fleet Air Arm. Tussac island off John Point on the north side of Choiseul Sound, East Falkland. Land.
