  • On October 9th 1944, Carmen lost his life during the Battle of the Scheldt, near Antwerp, whilst serving with the 1st Canadian Army and is buried at Adegem Canadian War Cemetery, Maledgem Belgium.
  • He is remembered here by his family and friends in the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom.
