• Gilbert Iles
• 22 SAS Regiment & Royal Engineers – 5th May 1967 – Age 28.
• SAS Trooper Gilbert Francis Farley Iles also known as John volunteered to be a spotter in a helicopter patrol during night operations in the Radfan region of Yemen 60 miles north of Aden. ‘Taff’ was serving with 16 Troop D Squadron when the helicopter crashed into a mountainside. ‘Taff’ and the crew were killed.
